Frequently asked questions

Is ACC really passwordless?

Yes. You sign in with a passkey (biometric or hardware key) or a 6-digit authenticator code. There is no password to steal, and account recovery uses identity verification rather than security questions.

What happens when I delete a file?

It moves to the Recycle Bin, where you can restore it — with its full folder structure — or delete it permanently. Existing share links are revoked immediately.

Can administrators read my files?

No. Administrative tooling is separated from file contents at the architecture level, and an automated test suite verifies on every build that no administrative path can reach file contents, names, or personal data.

What does no-download sharing mean?

Recipients can view the item in the app, but the server refuses any download request from them. The restriction is enforced server-side, not by hiding a button.

How does versioning work?

Every upload of the same file creates a new immutable version. The 10 most recent are retained, and you can preview or restore any of them.

When does ACC launch?

January 1, 2027. The Basic plan (30 GB) is free forever; paid plans unlock up to 1 TB.
